Grenades arc, bounce, and detonate after 2.5 seconds if they do not hit a target first. That delayed threat makes the launcher a prediction and area-control weapon: fill a doorway, punish a chase, or bank a shot into a room before you expose yourself.

Use walls and door frames to place damage where direct-fire weapons cannot reach. Listen for the bounce to read the path.
Stagger grenades across an exit rather than stacking them in one spot. Separate timers keep the lane dangerous longer.
When an opponent rushes, send the grenade past them. Retreating now means crossing the explosion they just ignored.
